That was for a cast iron, finned heater that clamped on the manifold. It did not send exhaust gas into the car.Just got a heat exchanger hot.Had a sheet metal shroud.
The one l had had a little exhaust pipe that clamped to thing like a cutout that clamped to the main exhaust pipe.

To clarify:the valvle was the'in'.A little pipe came out the back, connecting to the main exhaust pipe.
The one I had was NIB.Came from Harry Grisso Hardware,Sidney,Indiana.
Harry,RIP,had some T era parts on his shelves into the 1980's,all of which I bought.

Makes you wonder if you put every gadget ever made to make the poor old T run better or farther on a gallon of gas or just look better. If that same T wouldn't weigh about 3500 lbs. Always amazed at the number of doodads made for a T.

The fuel by the mid 20's was about half Kerosene and wouldn't burn without some preheat. Octane by today's numbers would be in the low to mid 60's.

That is a Stromberg OF setup that came along in 22. By 26/7 when Ford put vaporizer carbs on to preheat the fuel so it would burn better Stromberg had sold well over half a million OF's to Ford owners. Must have thought it helped.
