I was out in my yard fixing the fence post the other day. I take the T where I go when I can. And I got to thinking, what an interesting corollary between mans best friend, and mans best friend. This is a picture of me and Chester the amazing Model T. It was like having my Labrador with us again.
The model T sits by your side. He waters the grass with oil. He poops grease from the universal joint. He farts and barks. Needs to be fed regularly and his coat needs to be shine every so often!
What about that thing that dogs do to your leg?
Well, the model T will "nuzzle" you if you crank start it and the clutches stick a little. And then, the radiator can "gurgle" some water out of the overflow onto your shoe. . .
Robert..great comparison & nice looking car. And the tires ARE WHITE! How old are they? What make of tubes are in them?
Thanks for the comments - lol
Tim, the tires are in need of a wash. They look white in the picture but are yellow because they need to be wiped down with tire white or whatever is in the garage, tire white I think. They were put on new June 2016.
I do not remember what tubes are in them. They do have the metal stem and I get most stuff from Langs, sometime Snyder's.
I still prefer my dog. The Model T doesn't hunt or retrieve. On the plus side, I don't have to clean up after it in the yard every spring.
