Here's a long shot:

I think I have a klaxon type horn from a 1925 Lincoln L touring in my box of misc parts that I am restoring.

Anyone know if that horn runs on 12V or 6V? I tried both and it seems to run better on 12.

Ford, Lincoln and Merc all went to 12 v in 1956.
Your horn is probably a bit stiff from sitting and 12 volts gives it more of a jolt than 6

Yes, Model L lincolns are 6 volt. Do you have a lincoln?

Thanks.

No, I do not have a Lincoln, just the horn. Anyone interested in it? I don't need it.
