My first complete Model T arrived today, dropped off. Rhinebeck swap meet purchase. I think I did amazing well at $6,500.
Nice coupe. That's what I started with in 1954. 26 Coupe.
Were you have holding a gun?????!!!!
Haha nope. The guy said he just has too many cars and not enough room. That, and in the 8 years he owned it he never even bothered to register it in his name after buying it and only drove it maybe ten times. He wanted to see it get used and enjoyed. It was restored in the 50's apparently by a WWII Army Engineer veteran. According to the guy I got it off of, this engineer got the Coupe already in pretty good shape and did a total rebuild on the drive train: even re-poured the babbit for rods and bearings apparently. The old vet only drove it in parades and shows from when the guy I got it off of talked to him. Judging by the tightness of the motor that story seems to add up. I think I'm very fortunate. Oh, and I'm not sure if it's original or not but inside the driver side door jamb on the door it has a sticker that says "Ford Motor Co., Dearborn MI, please make sure to lubricate accordingly and see your Ford mechanic" or something like that. Is that original to the car?
Look'n Good!
Nice Coupe
I like the accessory oil pipe - with that style you can see directly hoe effective it is just by opening the oil cap with the engine running. (beware of the fan!)
The steering wheel is likely from a 1912-19 Model T with the 14.59" OD wood rim. Smaller diameter than the '25-'27 17" Fordite rim, but looks better
Matthew: you done good! but I would look for a proper fuel bulb and ditch the fuel filter, my car had a system like that and was always starving for fuel until I replaced it with proper parts.
What a deal. I'm glad you have it.

Nice score !
Looks like a good car. If it runs well, you got a nice one.
