I have always thought that the design of the headlights built into the fender of a Pierce Arrow is really cool. What interests me even more is, how did they make it? It can't be stamped in one piece, but yet I can't tell where the seam would be for 2 pieces. Does anybody know? Inquiring minds want to know.

I've read that in some states Pierce had to use buckets because these lights weren't allowed. Silly legislation is a long-standing tradition.

Arnold,

Are you visiting with Bob by any chance?

Steve,

New York, I think, is one of the offending states.

Ken, they are probably built like the 120 Jag side lights: A crudely welded on light cone, and lots of body lead!
