I was looking through the new Langs catalog and saw these external band adjusters. I'm not going to buy any but it says "install in minutes". I don't know how they work but I'd like to know how they install in minutes. They look like different pedal shafts to me.
You have to remove the peddle from the shaft, drill and tap the peddle to recieve set screws, press the peddle onto the hollow shaft, then finally "install" the rebuilt peddle in "minutes." I have now done this to two of my T's and love the convenience of quick and easy adjustment, especially of the brake band.
Cory,
Every hour can be broken down into minutes they just didn't tell you how many minutes! 120 minutes perhaps
Easy to install in minutes, assuming the engine is not in the car and the pedals aren't in the hoggshead.
