i am putting together my 1924 top bows. Which way do the rivets go? Do the heads go on the inside or the outside?

Since the entire wood bow is covered by the stockings, I'd put them in whichever way is easiest. I do believe that originally the heads were on the underside, but whichever way you install them. just be sure there are no ragged metal edges or splinters to work a hole in your top or its stockings.

On my 26, the rivets were installed from top side and hammered on the bottom side. Thats the way I installed the new ones.
