I would like to rewire my 15' Touring with a modern fuse block,
however, what gauge wires to use and what size fuse to use on each device. To start with should I use a 10 or 12 gauge wire from the ignition to the fuse (25amp?) and onto the battery or starter switch, etc??
I appreciate any advice that you might provide.
Thank you.
Phil

Forgot to mention that it has a modern distributor so it has no coils. It is also a 12v system.
Thanks

If I were to do this I would seriously look at one of the wiring kits available for street rods. Look at the Jegs, Summit, Speedway websites, or get a Hot Rod magazine and scan the adds. Painless is one company I can think of who does this. Besides the fuse block, you can get color coded wiring, and some have the application printed on the wire as to what it is for.

I thought that they made metal coat hangers and bailing wire for rewiring a model T.

Fred, don't forget these wires.

You really only need one fuse. A 25 amp in the main supply lead to the terminal block will do it.
Fun Projects sells a nice weather proof kit.
Then you can use a stock wiring loom.
