Dogs like speedsters! That's a 1916 Kansas plate on the other car.
Both of those cars are great examples of well done late '10s speedsters. Both have interesting brass radiator covers in an effort to disguise their humble origins. And both have a man and a dog seated. Both of the gentlemen appear to be much older than I would expect a speedster owner to have been in those days. Today, easily half of speedster owners are in their 60s, or older yet (even ME for criminy's sake!). But in those days, most speedster owners were kids or young adults. The cars were the wanna-be wish of an expensive sporting roadster or racing car. Criminy, that is what mine is today!
First photo looks like a real big gas tank. Must be the long range model.....
