I'm looking to mount a '26 roadster cowl to a '24 frame and was wondering if the mounting locations on the frame are spaced the same?

The body mounts are all different on 26/27 frames. Two extra body brackets were added. How much is left of the subframe with your cowl?
Checking drawings for 09-25 frames, the front body brackets seems to be positioned 37-1/2" from the front of the frame not counting the reinforcement bracket, while on '26/'27 frames the front bracket is 38-1/4" from the front - this time measuring including the bracket thickness.

It's of course possible to drill out the rivets and move/add brackets on a pre 26 frame to fit a 26/27 subframe. The rear crossmember would need to be replaced or widened.

Perfect! Thanks. I couldn't find chassis diagrams to compare the mounting point distances.

All of the subframe is still present on the cowl andbwas cut a couple of inches past where the cowl finishes
