I'm sure you all have had similar experiences. I believe that after 90+ years, these cars inherit a spirit!
The other day, a friend and I were working on my '24 Touring, doing some repairs to the radiator. We removed the overflow tube from the top tank, cleaned it, reinstalled it, and soldered it so it wouldn't leak anymore.
Well, I started Lizzie up to make sure nothing was going to leak. While she was running, I was showing my friend the timer, and I accidentally caught my knuckle in the fan, which took a little skin off.
I knew I had some tape in my truck, but it was locked and Lizzie had the keys. I didn't want to turn her off and grab them, so I searched in the garage for some tape instead, while bleeding all over.
Suddenly, Lizzie just quit for no reason, as if to say "Come on, grab the keys and get what you need."
I obliged, and after taping up my knuckle, she started right up again.
My car knows things!
I like this Cameron!
Reminds me of My Mother The Car.
I dunno . . . she still bit you !
Seems some Ts are a bit more difficult but I am lucky right now mine are being good too.
