Has anyone heard of Clarkes (I understand it is Clarkes with an E!), a company based in Chicago that made wheels. That is about all I know.
Below is a photo of one of their wheels, which is described as 'an artillery wheel, by Clarkes of Chicago'.
I'd appreciate any input at all on this one!
For a Model B, 1932, not for T or A I would guess, other than that, ???
One of the many companies that made steel artillery wheels for cars. Mainly used in the early 1930s. They did make an accessory artillery wheel for the Model A and early V8s that resembles the Lyon and Budd accessory Model A and V8 wheels. Companies like this produced wheels for a variety of manufacturers, both as standard equipment and aftermarket accessories.
