Went to put a set of used brake rod brackets on the Depot Hack as the ones on there now have the tube rollover part rusted off. The "new" brackets are about 1/4" wider and longer and the tab with the rolled tube part is also longer than the original brackets.
We can't get the "new" brackets to tighten down to the radius rods due to this increase in size.

Before we cut the tubes off one and weld to the other, any ideas what these larger brackets could be? Exact same shape, or I'd post photos. TT? Poor reproductioons?

The Hack is a 27 and has a straight rod, not the bent ones. Were the 27 brackets different for these rods?

The rod supports (L) and (R) for the T are the same for most all years.

The TT is much larger with a small arm.

The T support arm measures about 2" length measured from the inside of the radius rod u- shape. Be sure to fit as per Ford Service Bulletin, approx. 18" from the bolts that hold the radius rods to the rear axle backing plate.
