Beginners question I know.
How many gallons of gas does a
1924 Coupe hold ? 10 ???

Approx. 9 1/4 gallon for the oval tank.



The fill should stay under the recessed threaded boss, as the gas cap seats down flush. If you fill without any gap, gas will more easily slosh out of the vent hole in the cap.

Just fill it to the top, and you don't have to worry about it! Seriously, get an original or repro gas stick, and it will tell you.

The Piquette Avenue plant sells them in their gift shop to help support them. They were $2.00 each with a flat rate shipping of $8.00 no matter how many you bought. The online shop under construction now so you may need to call them.
