The Museum is extremely grateful to Rod & Heather Barrett from Indiana who purchased and have loaned to the Museum the 2-pedal, 1909 Touring #394 that has been on display at the Piquette Museum since winning the 2015 Stynoski Award. This magnificent T was restored by Bill Bohlen from California. Rod, Heather, and Bill delivered the T on Thursday evening to a group of volunteers who had rearranged the Museum Ts to make room for the new addition.
Rod Barrett said he purchased the car specifically to display at the Museum so it can be viewed and enjoyed by our many visitors. We are truly honored to be the caretakers for this rare T, which along with the 3-pedal 1909 #6613 on loan from Doug Braun of Billings, MT, demonstrates the early evolution of the Model T.
Thank you Rod & Heather! And thank you Henry's Hoosiers VolunTeers for providing the manpower needed to make this happen.
This is another reason to come visit the Model T Museum in Richmond!
Thank you Rod & Heather.......Bill Bohlen too !!
This is the exact reason all MTFCA members should attend the homecoming and visit the museum. The museum truly does belong to the membership and the folks that care for it do a most wonderful job. Please make plans to attend the 2018 homecoming and national tour next July.
What a nice gesture! Hats off to the Barretts and all who support the museum.
I see the Double J's ....
Justin & Jerry ....
This is wonderful news!!!
Thank you to Rod and Heather Barrett and Bill Bohlen for making this happen, and to all the Museum volunteers who helped also!
We had to get home so I didn't miss the arrival of Rod's new car. It's a real beauty. Next, we need to get Susan moved into the new office so we can start on the remodel of the library. There is always something going on at the museum. Fun times!
