Cleaning up the tires and wheels on my recent acquisition, a 27 Depot Hack with T wire wheels. Tires are marked:

Sears Allstate 4.40/4.50/5.00/5.26 - 21

Wow! That's one heck of a tire. Takes the term Universal tire to a whole new level.

I guess it made it easy for inventory control at Sears. Got Model T or Model A? One size fits all.

They are good tires too. They will last miles and years beyond what is avallabe in today's market.

I still have a couple of those, they are about wore out though.
Tires are a size. That size fits what it fits. The 21 inch tires used by the model T in'25/'26/'27 are size-wise identical to the 21 inch tires used by ford for the model A in '28/'29.
As long as they are not somehow damaged, or sun-rotted beyond some serious point? Those tires are probably better (if not better looking) than anything made and sold new today. As long as they are the nylon cord tires which they should be. Sears went to the nylon cord early, and they should likely say so somewhere on the sidewall.

I have a Firestone 4.50-21 tire I bought used in 1960. I use it for a spare now. The tread is nearly gone but it has no sign of sidewall cracking.

Synthetic rubber and nylon cord makes a very durable tire.
