I just put new Kevlar transmission bands on my 26 Tudor and I was wondering how tight I should make them. How much pedal movement should it have. Thanks

You want as much slack as you can get but still grab just above the floorboard.

If you put your hand brake in the neutral position position ( straight up) and try to turn the hand crank you should be able to turn the crank without moving the car. if the car moves the clutch pedal is to tight. Back off just enough so the crank will turn without moving the car.

I want my pedals fully depressed to be 1" to 1" from the floor board.

Do as John says and drive it a while in a place with not much traffic. Take along your wrench and screwdriver. You will find that the band material will settle in and will need a few adjustment early on. Try to get the adjustments as Steve says 1" to 1 1/2" from the floorborad. after a few adjustments they should settle down and not require adjustment for a long time. In neutral you should be able to crank without moving the car or push the car without the engine turning.
