Before Harvey, I posted about a TT truck in a farm equipment auction at Sealy, TX (near Houston) Harvey postponed the auction and the new auction date is tomorrow. Switzer Auctions is in charge. Internet bids are taken if you have signed up with Proxibid. Tonight the high bid was $600.00 when I checked.
I cannot identify but here are their pics, for the future too:
Lot# 3093
FORD MODEL TT FLATBED TRUCK
WOODEN BED, WOODEN CAB, 3 WOOD SPOKE WHEELS, 1 STEEL
SPOKE WHEEL
Auction was yesterday. I didn't go and glad of it. Truck sold for $ 3000.00 !!!!
I was at the auction for about 20 minutes. Looked around and didn't want to stand around all day to over pay for something so I left. The engine turned over on the truck and had almost no compression. It was a 26-7 engine and there were no accessories on the truck. The cab was neat but rotted. I valued it less than the selling price.
I am looking for the 23 inches rear wheel with the drum and wood spokes for this 1917 model TT. If you have any idea where can I find one, I would really appreciate it.
Nice truck project, but it is not a '17, regardless of what the seller may have thought.
Hector, you got the truck? Cool. Good luck with the wheel search. :-)
Hector,
Welcome to the forum!
I got my rims, hubs, and spokes off an online auction, tires from Lucas. There is also the classified section in this forum here:
