Thanks, John! Thats the whole adventure on the FORUM. This will be a nice reference when his book is published......Since Tims visit here in Ohio, I`ve read three of his "travel" books. Hes a skilled writer/observer with great wit and humor. I suspect his new book might have a profound impact on the Model T hobby ----we`re very fortunate to have had Tims talent focused on this amazing car and its enthusiasts. Paul
Nice work, John! Very useful resource for me as I start writing up this extraordinary trip.
And thanks again Paul, way too kind...
Tim - We are all looking forward to your book. I'm thinking that if you "tackle" your writing with as much enthusiasm and determination as you did your Model T "adventure", many of us will soon have a great book to add to our "Model T libraries"!
You certainly did not stay in Seattle very long,.....wish you'd had a bit more time here as many of us would like to have met you and invited you to some of our club activities,....there are four Model "T" club local chapters in the Seattle/Tacoma Puget Sound area.
You just used the term/phrase "very useful resource" in your post above. I'm thinking that perhaps another "useful resource" as well as an enjoyable "acquaintance for you would be Neil Tuckett, in N. Marston. Would not be at all surprised to learn that you know Neil already, but if not, you need to meet him,....definately "MR. MODEL T" in England! I can guarantee that all you have to do is meet Neil and you'll have instantly made a very good "Model T friend"! My son and I met Neil a few years ago on our trip to England, and for me, his acquaintance, hospitality and tour thru' his shop and also a ride with him in one of his many Model T's was a highlight of our "England experience"! For what it's worth,......harold
