9 tooth steering drive pinion shaft, 12 tooth pinion gears and 13 tooth pinion gears.
Are these for specific years? Are these interchangeable to achieve certain ratios? Will these mate with the gear case teeth? Thank you for an education.

All the gears will fit to the steering gear cases.

Their are styles of cases, all brass riveted, and then brass nickel, and brass nickel with the slot for the longer pinion post for the 4:1 gears. Later cases have a longer slot for the 5:1 gears.



You can normally spot a 5:1 column and these sport the later gear case cover with the full edge knurling.
