Did Ford supply a tool kit with the pre-Model T autos, such as Model A, B. C, F, K, N, R, and S? If so, does anyone know of any reference or website that would show pictures of the tools?
The best resource for that may be the Early Ford Registry, a chapter of MTFCA, asking your question to those members who might know.
Their website has factory adv. and in the written specs, only mention of accessories is lights, horn, and top. No mention of a tool kit.
One tool in particular that I was researching is this Ford marked hub wrench. The six-sided opening is 2" and the eight-sided 2 5/8". Does anyone have a clue what it might be for?
The wrench is for larger hub caps than were used on the Model T. Does anyone know what size wrench would have been used for the Model K? I really don't know of any early Ford that would have used a 2 5/8" wrench for the hub caps.
