Of those who have this manual (Langspart#RM3) how would you rate it, is it very helpful when rebuilding your engine?
I haven't used that one, but based on the MTFCA books I have used I expect it's more than worth the price. Of course the Ford Service Manual is good too, and Mike Bender's videos can be a big help.
Steve wasn't that book one of you essential first buys?
I believe the correct name is Ford Service Book.
I would call it the first essential book. "The Black Book aka the Bible.
Doug, yes, it is. But for the little bit of engine work I've had to do on my own I haven't used it yet. I've assisted Mike Bender on my engines, and he knows what to do.
Larry & George: Doug is asking about the MTFCA book, not the Ford Service Manual.
