I have a split rim on order from Langís since July. When they put it on back order, I thought Iíd be smart and order one from Snyder, back order there also.
Both houses say the manufacturer was moving their shop and Sept 15th would be the ship date. Still no rims.
Does anyone know if the mfgr will be shipping anytime soon?
Or is there another source for good rims?
Thanks

Sonny,
I purchased all mine used on auction. If you only want new for show quality, let us know.

Iím a newbie, sort of. My fatherís first collectible and restoration. Iíve had the car for 22 years, sitting in storage. Had some work done by a local shop, with a rebuild eng and Tran by Kevin Prus.
I had a terrible wheel wobble, unbolted the rim, bounced it on the floor and it blew up in my face. The rim keeper sheared and the old rim is pretzeled.
I am aiming for a super safe and dependable car and am a little leery of other peopleís cast offs.

Sonny, I'm pretty sure the vendors get their rims from these folks. Maybe you can contact them directly to see what the hold-up is. Good luck.

Coincidence is a funny bird, I received a notice that one rim was drop shipped from the mfr this morning.
John, are there two McLarenís? Both in Michigan, but one doing wires only and one doing regular rims?
