I was talking to my 95 year old Dad yesterday and he told me a Model T story. On Sunday the family would load up in Uncle Melvin's Model T to fish some of the backwater near the Mississippi River in Mark Twain Country. They world drive down rutted dirt roads and Melvin remarked" I love it because I don't even have to drive". He set the throttle and the car drove itself following the ruts in the dirt road.
How cool is that!
Sounds like an early version of Drive by Wire.
Someone should have patented it!
And to think that some people actually complain about being in a rut!
Great story. Thanks for sharing
