A postman ?? Christmas bundles maybe ?? A couple of coasting sleds and rocking horses for good little boys and girls ?

"Unknown to all but a few North Pole insiders, Santa Claus quit using a sleigh pulled by reindeer when he purchased a new Model T Ford car in the fall of 1908. Modifying it for flight pre-dated the invention of "flubbed" by more than 50 years. "

That's "flubber" - all model T guys know "flubber" is what made Fred MacMurray's '15 touring go airborne.

My dad told a story that when he was 4 years old in 1924 my grandpa loaded the whole family up in a TT and moved them from New Meadows, Idaho to central Oregon. Since dad was so little he got to ride in the cab but the other four kids had to ride on top of the load of house hold belongings. It must have been quite a trip and looked something like your picture.
