Two questions, the first is not specific to the C cab I guess:

I used split pins or tension pins to secure the brake expander collar (TT 1064) to the brake expander (TT 1061) when reassembl9ing the brakes (see photo). Do you think this is ok...will the pin hold/is it strong enough? ...will it work its way out?

And second: How do I go about reupholstering the seat back in a TT C cab? The frame for it seems to be very thin. Are there supposed to be springs there? ...or padding? I would be grateful to anyone who has done this and is willing to share any experiences you have had.

Hi Joe, The seat takes padding only. If you try to use springs you will need to be a THIN chap to drive the truck. I think that the roll pin you put in will stay in place but will shear off. The solid pin will hold just fine.

Joe, I think I would be a little leary of that roll pin myself. I have used them before and if there was any doubt, I used another roll pin inside of the first one. Not all sizes can be done this way though. I would do as Scott suggests. Dave
