On the 26coupe when i turn the handle inside to raise the glass, should the coil spring on the riser be geting unwound ?
And when i LOWER the glass should the spring wind?
as to help raise the glass when going up?

Larry, if "hua" didn't already answer your questions then I'll try...

I don't know exactly what style regulator it is you have for your '26, but the different style regulators I've seen all load the spring when the window goes down (so it will assist in pushing the heavy glass up) and will unload when the window closes.

So, in your case I believe that loading the coil spring would be unwinding it- meaning it unwinds when the window goes down and winds up to a tighter coil when the window goes up.
