I finally got the old girl to come alive this afternoon. (Not my wife!)
I had to play around with the carb mixture until I found the right setting and it ran fine, even on Mag.
I did notice that she started to boil after a while and the exhaust turned red.
I advanced the spark and richened the mixture and she purred like a kitten.
Now to get the rear end finished and back in!
