Model T starter current draw is usually expressed under three conditions: Running free with no load-70 amps 5.5 volts at 4000 RPM; cranking the engine-150-160 amps at 5 volts at 150 RPM and lock rotor 450 amps at 3/4 volts at 12 foot pounds of torque.
