I belong to several clubs which have their own forums. I can honestly say that I enjoy this 'T' forum more than any other one. I have given up watching the evening news because its too depressing and uninformative. Anytime I want great 'T' information, a good laugh, wholesome entertainment and just downright fun, I log on to this forum. Keep up the good work, 'T men' and ladies.

Amen, brother! It always brightens my day when I log in to this site. We have something special going on here.
I agree! Reading the forum just this morning I found a fix for a minor problem that had me stumped. Took all of 10 minutes, too. Its almost as much fun as driving the "T".
A wonderful asset.
This is one of the best forums on the Web. I'm kinda just a "lurker" and don't post very often but my day wouldn't be complete without a visit to the conversations on this site. There is humor, technical knowledge about Ts and other cars, general conversations of interest and an argument or two. What more does a guy need . . . except maybe to take is T out for a drive. This forum reminds me of the local coffee shop where guys get together in the morning to cure the worlds problems. . . . just a bigger table with lots more chairs.
This is the best one I've seen anywhere, thanks for all the great info everyboby!!
Where else can you find new uses for modified bitumen roofing tar?
AMEN...........I look at it a hunert times a day......... My wife sez ,,,If I worked on my other T as much as I looked @at this site,,,,The "TT" DUMP TRUCK would be painted and rollin down the road !!!! (slow) Carl
Did someone say TT dump truck? Lets have a look! Oh ,and this fourm is great!
Yea I wouldnt mind seeing another TT dump truck myself.
Ah,you learn alot here, but if you join a club, and meet people in person, you learn all kinds of stuff. You git to hang around with folkes that know what eggs benidict is.I had no idea what it was and a member told me.I later tried it at Bob Evans and,I hope that was a poor example as it was YUKIEE.
Mack,
Try eggs Benedict at at Brennan's on Royal St. in the French Quarter in New Orleans. If you don't like them there, it's probably the hollandaise that you don't care for. But an English muffin topped with Canadian bacon and a poached egg might be kind of dry without the hollandaise. Might be more like an Egg McMuffin at McDonald's.

My morning routine (at least when I'm at home) doesn't vary. Get up, hit the bathroom, make a cup of coffee, fetch the newspaper for Anja, take the coffee to the computer and read everything on the forum that has been posted since my last visit. It often takes two or three cups of coffee before I'm finished.
This morning, I had been away for a week, so it was four cups of coffee.
We love this Forum?
AMEN TO THE VALUE OF THE FORUM-HUMOR,WIT,IMPORTANT INFORMATION,A TESTIMONY TO THE DIVERSITY OF OUR HOBBY, ITS ALL THERE.

P.S., Its late & I am too lazy to remove the Caps.
Edward, you nailed it! Dave
This is no Forum....It's a Nineum or Tenum! Like the others have said it is good fun and chocked full of useful information. I too get my morning coffee and turn on the compuker and check out this site before work.
Edward, if it's late, does that make them night caps?
The forum has been a great help to so many of us and especially to me. From answering our questions to giving us a place to express our grief. It also provides us the opportunity to meet new friends. Some we will discover are near by and we can drive over. Others further away but we can plan to meet them at a swap meet or when we are traveling near them. And others continents far away – but still someone we enjoy hearing from and about. And it also is a great support to our hobby.
Thanks so much to Bruce and others who manage the forum and thanks so much to all of you who read and contribute.

Dave an' Mack,,,,,You've both have seen it before(maybe)...We graced the cover of The Vintage Ford Mag.back in 1986.....I bought "HER" in 1979,drove er'all-over....sold her in 89(?)and bought her back in 1995,,,,,I have since redone the chassis and graced with a new coat of Black....The body-work is done and "WAITING"for the finish coat of whatever color I deside on....She runs like a top and has a Rucksell(sp)with a 3speed Jumbo ,with reverce, and high speed gears......My biggest problem is when she is all together she won't go in or out of the garage !!!! I often wonder "why do I have this passion for Model "T"s ????" The smell, sound, the smiles they invoke from others, and the great people you meet with the same love for a time in history.....All you guy & gals out there with your knowlege to share on a truly FUN hobby......Carl p.s. I need to learn how to reduce (I know, they covered it a'couple wwks back)my photos to post.......
i think all of us that have been bitten by the T bug read the fourm every day or at least every time we log on, its in my favorite list. i love reading it and love the pictures. i am so glad they haven't found a cure for the T bug yet.

I checked the 1986 "Vintage Ford" covers and there were 4 issues with a TT somewhere on the cover. None had Carl listed -- but one had a TT dump with other trucks and with a note that they did not have the names of the owners or drivers. It is from the mar - Apr 1986 "Vintage Ford" and is used by permission. Is this your TT-Dump Carl?
I looked but I did not find the picture of the TT with the really small front wheels. I thought the owner was from Canada, but I didn't find it filed there. Their garage was a little too low for their TT so they had an extra set of hubs with a very small wheel diameter. I believe the wheel was made out of plastic and was only for driving in and out of the garage. I would think a set of 10 inch wheels on the front (Original UK Minis see: http://www.7ent.com/detail.cfm?pageid=2310 , also the Honda 600 from the 1970s and maybe others had them). And you may be able to use a 13 inch wheel. It can be a pain to have to switch the front hubs out so you can swap wheels – but it might be something to consider. Another option might be what the Air Force does on some of its hangers. The tail section sticks up much higher than the rest of the airplane. They have an extra part that opens to allow the highest part through. If you could put doors on your garage that opened out (not an overhead rollup door) and if you could cut an additional area up – or add a dormer to that area – you could get the TT in. And if it is just a mater of inches – a heavy duty tie down with a ratchet could compress the front spring an inch or two (much easier to do if there is not a front radiator splash apron covering the front frame.
