Well, it's fall in Nebraska, so we pulled out the sedan for Holloween. Took the kids, wife and German Shepard (Madchen) to town for Holloween, and had a great time. My wife commented about how much better the "modern" headlights work than our other accetyline headlamp cars.
HeHe. I have a 26 Coupe with the un-focusable headlights but my wife would rather go out at night in it than the 14 with acetylene lights. (This may have a root in halving to ask our waiter to borrow his lighter so that I could light the headlights) This from a women who has candles in every room (BTY what is a Bayberry?) I wish some one could explain to her why it is better to start a car with the crank than the starter....LOL
Rob, you are a lucky guy. Enjoy your car collection and especially your family while they are young enough to develop lifelong memories and bonds.
Paul
Rob; The young ladies are sure growing up!
Best to you & yours.
Sincerely
Jim Weir
Jim and Paul, Thanks. They are growing up quickly. I hope they don't become too "cool" to ride in our cars in the coming years.
Rob
My kids are 19 and 17 and they like the 1926 touring. Yours are lucky to grow up with a T. Best wishes, Erich
I need to try driving at night still. They sure look bright. I am also waiting for the first chance to try driving it in the snow. Wife said I should not insure it all 12 months, but I just never know when I will want to drive it. A black T is perfect for the occasion.
Happy Halloween, Erich
Erich,
We like driving in snow. We take it a bit slower (two wheels brake instead of four). Two of our cars have RM brakes, and I think this helps stop in snow/slick conditions.
I can't wait.
Erich
