Well, finally some progress to show for the last months of work. It’s just a rolling chassis, but that is something. Once the engine gets back, I could sit on the gas tank and go for a spin…
…well, once I get the problem fixed. It seems that the rims I found are a bit too narrow for the felloes (or fellies, if you prefer). There were no rims or proper rear wheels when I got the truck, so I had to find things. I ended up using the rims from a couple of steel disc wheels (30x5/6.00x20 tire size), and the diameter is fine, just a bit too narrow for the TT wheels.
I can’t see that there is anything to do other than round up a pair of demountable rims that were originally on a wood-spoked TT and use them.
Anyone got an extra pair?
Joe
Lookin' good Joe, keep us posted. Dave
I have found a pair of TT wheels that a guy is using for "yard art" --they are just leaning against a tree in his yard! Although they still have tires on them (rotten ones at that), so I don't know if the rims are pitted or not--that's all I need are the rims, I have a great set of nearly new wheels--he apparently doesn't want to sell them!!! AAAAUGH!! Anyone want to make a mid-night raid for me?? (No, I won't do it, but I will continue to ask him, and offer him other wheels for his yard art.
Frustrating!!!

David, offer him a ride also, couldn't hurt! Dave
It will probably be worth a try to contact John Danuser in Fulton Missouri. I have seen TT wheels, etc. at his place. I think there is a good chance John may be able to help.
John has some advertisements in the Classifieds on the forum here so you can get the email.
John also posts regularly on the forum. If you can find one of his messages, you can click on his name to contact him.
Thanks fellows Yes I have 3 presently, good ones are getting very hard to find, so price is going up, but not like the new ones danuser88@socket.net
Try Model T Haven.
I see they have some 20" rear TT wheels for $120 each.
