Looks to me like there is more relevant posts and less "drive by shootings" now. Forcing people to man up and creating a traceable account seems to be working well so far.

So far I think it's great. The picture posting hasn't been a problem for me, I can't post them anyway on this antique 'puter.<grin> Thanks Bruce. Dave

Bud,

I haven't noticed any significant change in loading speed. I use a DSL connection and about a 5 year old computer so I may be slowing things down for others. On my computer I have noticed that if I don't run "defrag" and delete the temp files every six months to a year things start running slow -- but it is because I need to clean out some "junk" off my hard drive. If others are not seeing some sort of slow down -- then it maybe your computer rather than the site? Is your computer runing slowly only on the MTFCA site or is it slower than normal on the other sites you visit also?

It also may be getting close to time to start a Forum 2010 -- as I believe at some point the number of postings may slow things down. And most of us are not trying to add anything to the posting from six months ago.

Thank you Bruce for all you have done and are doing to make the forum great. And if there is something we as users can do to help make your job easier or better please let us know. (Yes, that could even include letting us know what your favorite cold beverage is … I could put in a request with Santa for you.)

Respectfully submitted,

Hap Tucker l915 Model T Ford touring cut off and made into a pickup truck and l907 Model S Runabout. Sumter SC.
