I picked this up a while back an was thinking it is either for an accessory side drive magneto or a accessory gas pedal setup. It takes the place of one of the manifold clamps. Has someone seen one of these in use?

I would guess that it replaces the front clamp and works with a side drive mag. I have been wrong before.

That looks like the rear exhaust manifold clamp to a 20's Overland. The distributor is on the right side of the engine and that is part of the linkage to the spark advance. Incidentally, I sure need it if you would sell it. I've got the rusted remnants of the clamp, but not the swiwel part. Or the distributor either for that matter, one slow hard to find piece at a time.

I'm going to attempt to post a pic. The clamp on mine isn't that bad I guess. It's on upside down. The distributor attaches to the rear of the generator. This pic is right after I got the chassis home last year./1006081136.jpg/img
