Heres another tire gauge that was meant to stay on each tire. Hence these were named STA ON, made by advanced specialty co., Rochester, N.Y. The cover over the gauge face is hindged and snap locks closed to keep dirt out. The unit is solid nickel plated brass and is less then half the weight of the previous ones I posted.

Was there also an accessory (wheel weights) to balance tires around that time?

Michael, I would think you would have to balance your wheel after installing these. I don't know how the weight issue was tackled back then.

Awwhh, no need to balence the wheels. Once you load your car down with all those gadgets Jay has, you can't go fast enough that it matters!

This gauge sure is a more reasonable size than the others you showed us. Plus, what a confident name!
