Has anyone seen one?
Might be more fun to see a Fordson speedster
Kinda an oxymoron with either one. You could out walk either.(G)
Jack, trade the tt rear axle with a t rear axle for the gearing. Beef up the engine. Everything else will work. A hundred or so pounds for the body and walaw you got a speedster.
Or, buy this ole rig and put on the bucket seats and have a 'dually' speedster...
Tyrone, did you get my email? Dave
I saw a speedster once that used a TT frame, backwards and up-side down.
I believe there was one that showed up at the Santa Clara speedster run that used a shortened TT frame but with a T rear axle.
It will make a stiffer frame and if you already have a TT frame the price is right!
If you used s TT Ruckstell you could put a fifth wheel on it durning the week and use it as a semi tractor!
Fordson Speedster. Hmmm 450 cu in 4 cylinder and a constant mesh transmission. I recall seeing pictures of a truck made in the era using the Fordson engine married to another chassis. Massage that puppy and put it in a light chassis with 3-1 gears and a overdrive. Something to think about.
Dave I did thank you. I sent an email back.
