I am a "Winter Texan" in the McAllen area of south Texas. Back home (SD) I am rebuilding a 1917 touring (money pit), with a wood kit from Fordwood and body panels/patch panels from Howells (if I ever get them!). Good running chassis with a late '16 engine. Rusty body, non-existant wood. Wood patterns from Leon Parker (great help!). I need some guidance on attaching the rear fender braces. If there are any touring cars in this area I would like to get some pictures of certain areas. (I have lots of time on my hands).

Howdy Lyle, Guess I'm in "upper south Texas". Lockhart - south of austin. Have a '23 touring in New Braunfels, a newly restored '14 runabout and '19 centerdoor here. Also have a '15 depot hack that toured Deadwood, SD back in '82. You know Les Schugart? He was tour chairman. Don't have or know of a late teens touring further south so don't know if I can help on pictures . . .

Ingleside is "up" near Corpus Christi but still closer than George or me. You can't hardly get any farther South than McAllen lest you slip over to Brownsville. I'm SW of San Antonio but my Touring is a 25.

Worked in the Valley for a number of years. Bought my '23 TT there in Donna. Built the Cable TV systems in Victoria Palms, Llano and Alamo. Also did a Wireless project in McAllen and through out the Valley.

There was a guy in Harlington that an assortment of Model T parts. His name was Chris 956-341-6767, it was a number of years ago, not sure if he may still have them.

Thanks, everyone!

Chris, I called the gentleman with the T parts, but he has sold all of them. Thanks for the lead. Doesn't seem to be any T's close to me.

One other Valley lead...

Janet Houston worked at 'a' Century 21 in Harlington, she at one time had a TT and some parts. The truck was in Rio Hundo, I got the lead from Chris.
No phone number was or is available.
