I hate to keep asking dumb questions but does the spark rod go over or under the water inlet hose/pipe?? I think it's under but?? I think the carb issue is also now solved.Who offers the brass cotter keys?? Thanks. Bud.

Depends on what spark rod you use. Some go over and some under. The ones that go under, are bent like a large U and the ones that go over are quite straight.

Bud, get your brass cotter pins from a marine dealer. There's gotta be somebody in your neighbourhood who sells and repairs boats.
Stainless steel should also be available, if you're looking for corrosion resistance.
