I purchased a nos Model 490 speedo for my 27 touring at Richmond. I am in the process of installing the drive gear on the wire wheel hub. I need a photo to be sure we are doing this correctly. Does the gear go on with the Warner name out or up against the wheel? I did not get spacers with the wheel, but I beleive there must be some involved in the installation.
The setup look exactly like the one in the Langs catalog but they do not have the instructions available at this time.

You might try contacting Russ Furstnow who does Model T speeometers.
I have spoken to him on the phone and met him at Chickasa T meet and he is a nice guy with info. He has also written a book on speedometers and their repair.
