Can someone tell me the correct number of bows for the 1912 roadster? A friend of mine bought the body that was on ebay a couple weeks ago and is trying to determine if the top that is with it is correct for the body. I haven't seen it yet and wouldn't know the answer if if I did.

I am surprised that you havn't had a response. The 12' roadster had 3 wooden bows just like most other roadsters that fitted into steel sockets. Check the type of sockets that are with the car as against the ones listed with the parts suppliers. The Langs part number is 7940A4 but there isnt a picture in the catalogue. Perhaps there would be a picture in the Rootlieb parts catalogue for comparison. If it is the 1912 'Mother in law' body that your friend bought he got a great buy. It was one of the most special items I have ever seen listed on ebay.
