Gents,
I have a bottle of a Ceramic engine treatment that is said to reduce wear (also a number of other claims in which I have no interest).
Do any of y'all have any actual experience or knowledge (everyone has an OPINION, I'm sure) of using this stuff in a engine?
Oh, yes, I know that "Henry didn't need no stinkin' ceramic....." but this will be used in a slightly modified engine in a Speedster, so I'm not concerned about being "correct" or "original," etc.
Thanks for your knowledge.
One thing that you may consider is that your brake, reverse and forward low gear are not lubricated from a separate system. I've often wondered how these additives would effect the bands operation on a running car. I'm not brave enough to be the test pilot.
I aint real bright but the last dealings I had with ceramic it was a hard substance that, even if microscopic, would act like rocks rubbing against a machined surface.
Drain your oil and give it 4 quarts of good quality oil and drive it.
