I am finding my engine very hard to crank by hand and I feel there may be some clutch drag.
Can anyone please advise on the correct adjustment of clutch, I have seen three screws.
I have had one wheel up on a stand and find the back wheel also seems hard to turn when lever is in nuetral position.
I am using a standard 30w oil which I may need to change?
Chris
Chris,
As far as oil try either 5 or 10-30, If the car is in neutral with the handle all the way back, & you try cranking & the clutch is sticking you'd find yourself on your back with oil dripping on your face, or the word "Ford" impressed in your forehead from the radiator. Sounds like the bands maybe too tight.

I sent you an email Chris.
See this picture and check the link between the clutch and low pedal. Also check the bolt on the clutch lever and the cam on the brake lever. The brake should be tight when the lever is all the way back, and the brake should be off with the lever straight up, but the clutch should be in neutral with the lever straight up. The car should be in high with the lever all the way forward.
