If there is not a broken arm club I'm here to start one. I found out today I did break my arm wednesday.
Sorry, Ty.
Now you gotta' learn to use your left.
Back in the '80s I was going to an elderly flight physician with whom I got into a discussion about the perils of cranking a car. He told me the doctor's name of the common break that they saw 'way back when. Unfortunately, I've forgotten that descriptive name he mentioned. It had to be something like, "crankin' break" or, "motorist's wrist" or somesuch.
Do any of you medically oriented folks know what that descriptive name might be?
I have heard the expression "Ford fracture."
"Chauffer's break" is what I've heard and I'm sorry to hear that you got one, Ty.

I joined that club years ago courtesy of a friend. He thought advancing the spark without my knowledge might help start the car as I cranked. Only broken bone I have ever had, thanks to Henry and Bob.
Never had a problem with a T, but about 30 years ago I had a D7 Cat pony motor kick back on me. Just bruised my wrist and broke my watch crystal. I refused to run it after that until my boss put on a starter. There was no adjustment on the timing, never knew what was going to happen. Sorry about your arm Ty. Dave
This was labeled "chauffeur's fracture"
I dont remember where I copied it from.
