I just realized that the firewall that came with my 1910 T is actually a solid mahogany firewall! It broke horizontally on the lower sides but someone glued it up. I wasn't going to re-use it because I thought it was just another plywood/veneer piece that wasn't worth repairing again. But now I'm starting to think I can make this work! I know this isn't original, but was someone making these out of solid mahogany back in the day? There are no identifying makers marks on it. I will also have to make a riser out of solid mahogany, since the one that was with the car was too short, which made too big of a gap where the top and windshield meet.
Old dining room table? Doors would be to thick.
