I agree with you. Maybe this is a very early example of how people still love the old cars for special events.

I LOVE the side and tail lights. I guess this would be a period correct modification?

That '12 has seen 15-17 years of (hard?) use. That firewall has been really wet a lot of times. The top ? Replaced by the nuptial canopy. They'll probably leave it on the car. (Joke).

Speaking of "firewalls", isn't a wooden firewall some kind of contradiction ? To start an argument over terminology, I hold that wooden panel is a "dash board". It corresponds to the same body part in horse-drawn vehicles, the only difference is the horse has been supplanted by the motor.
