A pair of photographs from the 310th Company archive, who were paired with the 339th of mostly local (Michigan) boys who fought the Red (Bolshevik) army near the Russian port city of Archangel in
support of the White (generally Czarist) army.
They were deployed to Russia and fought there from 1918-1920. This Northern Russia American Expeditionary Force (NRAEF) was eventually known as the "Polar Bears".
No word if these were local cars expropriated by the troops or ones they brought with them..
