"One room hut housing family of nine built on chassis of abandoned Ford in open field between Camden and Bruceton Tennessee, near the Tennessee River-1936."
Won't be moving that formerly open cab TT RV anytime soon......
The doors are gone, but that rare today tall upper windshield frame of the TT open bodies is still there.
Looks like a lot of good wood and work for? Planned to be a travel trailer maybe and tow with another vehicle once some tires and tubes are obtained? Or building a body for someone with a complete usable chassis to put it on?
Lots of missing parts and repairs to make this truck move again under it's own power!
The young lady on the left looks the happiest of them all.
Depression survivors. Humble reminder of how good we have it, even when we may think we don't.
A 12 volt battery and she'll start right up!
Good catch Dan. A whole lot of C Cabs Iíve seen nowadays have a touring/roadster top windshield frame. Like the frame in my profile, a C Cab Top windshield frame extends above the stanchions a few inches.
I doubt that they had any plans to move it at all. Probably just damn glad they had a place to live in. Dave
