Always amazes me how big rocks like that can stay perched like that with so little underneath them. You would think good old gravity would take over.
Nice pic. Thanks for posting. Looks like a '13?
Hope one of our group can make an enlargement of this photo. Also, somebody to identify where this is?
Found an old stereo card online listing this as Balanced Rock Garden Of The Gods Colorado.

Glad it's still there and standing. It's a real wonder some idiot hasent tried to tip it over.
That rock has been there for many years and has not fallen yet! Here is a picture of my father's aunt and uncle at least 100 years ago.

The travelers hail from Kansas City ? (Ks or Mo?). Looks like a '13 roadster to me. Headlamps have been electrified and bulb horn replaced. It's always fun to see how the stock turtle deck has been replaced by something more useful - in this case a generous looking travel trunk.
Nice photo Dallas, but I don't think I would want to be anywhere near it.
He does'nt look happy? Problem is his girl is a rock collector!
This isn't quite as spectacular but a challenge for the engineers. This is a local street. These are my grandchildren standing on it. They eventually blasted it and moved it and the road was completed.
If you are in garden of gods look closely at that rock it has concrete made from the same color of rock tucked around it at the bottom. I was there last summer
