Are the wire spoke wheels that came on the 26 & 27 T's the same wheels that came on the model A's ? thanks
No. They are similar but different and will not interchange on the hubs.
You will need adapters available from T vendors
There are other differences, like bolt patterns, but this is the easiest for me to spot:
Model A wheels have reinforcement ridges pressed between the holes.
Model T wheels don't have them.
Or you will need the Model T wire wheel hubs. The prices are all over the board. If you get a set of T hubs make sure the cups in the front are tight not spun and the rear key ways and tapers are good. The studs can be replaced but you need a 20-30 ton press and tooling. The T wire wheels are 5 on 5" and the A are 5 on 5 1/2". Not only are there reinforcement ridges on the A wires which are not on the T wheels, the center section where the spokes attach on the T wires are smaller.
