Just passing this along if you would like to help a new owner of a White Yellowstone bus. The request was posted on the AACA forum:
http://forums.aaca.org/topic/305918-1924-white-yellowstone-bus-help/
The fellow says he just acquired a bus he has been after for several years, and is now getting ready to get it running. I posted this here in part because a few others here also have experience with White trucks and busses.
Wayne,
There is a restored Yellowstone White Bus owned my the Coker Family in Chattanooga, TN. If you can get back to the new owner, he could contact Coker Tire to get connected to the family for assistance.
I didn't see how to contact the new owner and wanted to pass this along if it would provide an avenue for him to get some help.
Best of luck,
Dom
My son has restored two Yellowstone busses. He can be reached in Belfry Mt. RR frames.
Doesn't Richard Eagle have a Yellowstone bus? I seem to recall mention of it in an earlier year's thread(s).

I will try to contact the owner when I return from Texas. I am at A VMCCA board meeting.

That White was purchased from a friend of mine in Newport Beach. Glad to see that it will get back on the road. We had a 1924 White truck in the family years ago. It had a total loss drip oiling system with individual feeders with glass windows on the dash. I remember we had way too much oil in it at first but finally got the level right. I had fun driving that backwards shift four speed. That thing would really move!
Here is a shot of the Barn where that White came from.
